I've done some damage to my now crying wallet as of late. I'm talking multiple trips to Sephora, Murale, The Bay and even Holt Renfrew (and by 'even Holt Renfrew', I mean hauling a$$ on the TTC, running in loose flip flops, barging through the door at 6:55 when it closes at 7:00 just to get a lipstick).
But my most exciting purchase happened just today.
I went into Sephora to pick up Makeup Forever lipstick in 40 Satin (hello Orange!) and walked out with a primer for my kit and Josie Maran's Argan Matchmaker Powder Foundation.
If you scroll far enough back into the archives of my blog, you will know that I have been a longtime fan of Josie Maran and her cosmetic line, especially since I've been trying to go a tad bit greener with my routine.
While I am never quite sure about foundations and/or cosmetics that are supposed to "self-adjust" to your chemical balance/genetic dna/however it works ... I totally wanted to try this product the minute I saw it. The argan oil component along with the SPF 20 are what sold me on this product, I really liked the fact that when I swatched it over my skin that it instantly mattified any oiliness but didn't look clumpy or too powdery. It was really lightweight ... and yeah - it instantly blended into my skin for a perfect match.
I really cannot say much more about this product yet as I have yet to give it the full test drive.
I will keep you posted.
